Nightbane 2.0?
Brutallus had fallen, but something terrible happened shortly after; the corrupted blood of the pit lord saturated the remains of Madrigosa, turning them into a skeletal dragon called Felmyst. Along with newfound powers, the blood instilled some of the Legion's twisted dogma into the former blue dragon, and she was ready to destroy us in Kil'jaeden's name.

The creature was called Felmyst with good cause; it exhaled a burst of toxic gas that infected every one of us, doing incredible damage if not quickly removed. We managed to dispel the contagion, and continued our assault. Occasionally, however, a bubble of pure arcane energy would envelop someone and explode, causing even greater damage.

Midway through the battle, Felmyst took to the air again, shooting out a demonic vapor that caused skeletons to emerge from the ground and attack us. While we tried to keep them contained, the creature exhaled huge bursts of green mist that would cause anyone caught within to go insane. Although a few people were turned and forced to be put down, we continued a strategy of destroying the skeletons while avoiding the mist. Eventually, the creature landed again and we fought on, eventually winning the battle. Kalecgos arrived and mourned the loss of his comrade, then opened a route for us back into the Plateau.

Graduate of the Kargath Bladefist School of Weaponry
With Kalecgos now free from demonic influence, we pushed further into the Sunwell Plateau. Not far away was the courtyard of the stronghold, the wide open space that crowned the Dead Scar, where countless bombing runs were made against the Scourge and the Legion forces battling it out there. It was here that we found the pit lord, Brutallus. Kil'jaeden's loyal military commander was fighting with Madrigosa, a blue dragon that had accompanied Kalecgos in his quest to find Anveena, who held the Sunwell's remaining power.

Brutallus was a deadly warrior, his skills forged in the fires of unending combat. Madrigosa's magic was powerful, and for a time it seemed like her interrogation of the pit lord would succeed. But one devastating charge from her foe and she was slain. The pit lord turned and faced us, as if daring us to succeed where a blue dragon sorcerer could not. Not willing to disappoint, we charged into battle.

The demon swung his weapons - two sharp swords in place of his hands - in wide arcs, bringing the force down upon the shields and hides of our defenders. Not only that, but he harnessed the power of meteors to burn us with fire. It was a hard fought battle, and in the end we came out victorious!

Break on through to the other side...
With the trials of Outland now over, it fell to us to enter the Sunwell Plateau and attempt to stop the Burning Legion's plans there. A small army of blood elves blocked our way as we moved along the opulent streets and battlements, but eventually we reached our first real obstacle; in the time since we were tasked by him to defeat Kael'thas for good, the blue dragon Kalecgos had become corrupted by Kil'jaeden's minions. A vicious dreadlord named Sathrovarr the Corruptor had possessed the dragon, and Kalecgos pleaded with us to either save his soul or spare his agony by killing him.

We fought the dragon as he tried to regain control of himself. Suddenly, portals started appearing around the room, and we followed them into a spectral realm where Sathrovarr was battling what remained of Kalec's soul. By simultaneously attacking the dreadlord and the dragon, we were able to destroy the demon and free Kalecgos.

Pre-Wrath guild meeting
From Merran:

"We're going to try to have a full guild meeting soon. Ideally this will happen on Tues at ~6:00pm server time in Vent. With Wrath coming, I'd like to find out what everyone's plans are, who's staying, who's changing toons, etc. We'll also discuss a little guild business, structure, a chance to toss around ideas, goals, etc. I know alot of people are planning on taking a break before Wrath, I'm hoping people do, 4 nights of raids a week for the past year? Yeah, you guys deserve one. smile I just want to catch everyone who plans to play Wrath before they take a break.

We know not everyone can or will make this meeting, but we're going to talk to as many people as we can. If additional meetings will be needed, that could happen also."

Illidan Kill Video
Our favorite little gnome destroyer of souls Shockbit has prepared an absolutely stunning video of our Illidan kill. The timing and music are amazing. At the end, there's even a heartfelt montage of our humble guild's rise to the top.

Many thanks, Shock!
